OUR SERVICE
Personalshipper.com Ltd (Personalshipper.com) is an appointed representative of Anderson Ashcroft (Chorley Ltd) and act on your behalf in arranging your insurance. Our service includes arranging your insurance cover on a non advised basis.
As a company Personal Shipper.com offer insurance for Marine Cargo Insurance only and deal with a single insurer.
CUSTOMER PROTECTION INFORMATION
Personalshipper.com is authorised and regulated by the Financial Services Authority (FSA). Our FSA Register number is 475689. We are permitted to:-
• arrange deals on and assist in the administration and performance of general insurance contracts
• deal as agent and make arrangements with a view to transactions in general insurance contracts

It is our intention to provide you with a high level of customer service at all times. However, should you be unhappy with our service or have any cause for dissatisfaction we have a formal complaints procedure. If you cannot settle your complaint with us, you may be entitled to refer it to the Financial Ombudsman Service.
Please note that Personalshipper.com and Anderson Ashcroft (Chorley) Ltd do not guarantee the financial position or solvency of any insurer utilised.
We are covered by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS). You may be entitled to compensation from the scheme if we cannot meet our obligations. This depends on the type of business and the circumstances of the claim. Insurance advising and arranging is covered for 100% of the first £2000 and 90% of the remainder of the claim, without any upper limit. For compulsory classes of insurance (motor and Employers Liability), insurance advising and arranging is covered for 100% of the claim, without any upper limit. Further information about compensation scheme arrangement is available from the FSCS.
INFORMATION ON COSTS/CANCELLATIONS
We will provide you with a separate premium for your insurance. Premiums can be paid by Pay Pal, Direct Debit or Credit Card.
Quotations are valid for 30 days from the date quoted.
Personalshipper.com are remunerated by receiving a percentage of premium by way of commission, which will be disclosed to clients on request.
CLIENT MONEY
In the case of this product Personalshipper.com act as agent of the Insurer for the collection of premiums which means that such money is treated as being received by the Insurer when received by us.
CLAIMS
In the event of a claim, please follow the claim procedure detailed on the relevant section of the website (www.personalshipper.com).
YOUR DUTY TO PROVIDE INFORMATION
It is your responsibility to provide complete and accurate information to insurers when you take out your insurance policy and throughout the life of your policy.
It is important that you ensure that all statements you make on proposal forms, claim forms and other documents are full and accurate.
Please note that if you fail to disclose any material information to your insurers, this could invalidate your cover and could mean that part or all of a claim may not be paid. Material information is any information which may affect your insurers assessment of the risk.
